Overview
The Tactical Processor occupies the intersection of speed and accuracy that most cognitive systems treat as a tradeoff. In psychometrics, this is known as the speed-accuracy tradeoff (SAT) — the well-documented tendency for faster responses to be less accurate and vice versa. The Tactical Processor violates this expectation. Both metrics are elevated simultaneously.
This archetype combines strong reaction-domain scores with high processing-domain scores. On tasks like Symbol Snap (perceptual speed matching), Typing Speed (motor-cognitive throughput), and Shift (rule-switching under time pressure), Tactical Processors consistently deliver fast completions with low error rates.
